Thursday, Jan. 27 is National Chocolate Cake Day. To celebrate, this favorite dessert across the high seas Carnival has shared the recipe!

Luckily, there are 5 ingredients and only 15 minutes are required to make its signature Melting Chocolate Cake, so anyone can replicate the ooey-ness and gooey-ness from home! See Recipe below!

Here is the full list of ingredients and directions you will need to make a traditional Carnival Chocolate Melting Cake this National Chocolate Cake Day!

Five Simple Ingredients

  • 6oz Dark Chocolate

  • 6oz Butter

  • 4 Eggs

  • 3oz Sugar

  • 2oz Flour

Five Easy Steps 

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter

  2. Mix eggs and sugar and whisk for a few minutes, then add flour

  3. Add the egg mix to the melted chocolate and mix

  4. Pour the mix in a greased mold

  5. Bake directly in the oven at 350°F for 20 minutes
